The historic center of Strasbourg is the Grand Ile.  This small area is concentrated with an exceptional complex of monuments which span from the 15^th to 18^th century.  The winding streets with their timber-framed colorful houses appear to be taken from a fairy-tale especially at night when they are lit by lanterns.
