What to see in Strasbourg
The spellbinding Cathedral of Notre Dame is the crowning jewel with its astronomical clock with its parade of figures from the life of Jesus and his Apostles. Don’t miss the Palais Rohan known as a miniature Versailles. This amazing palace features countless treasures. Of course no visit is complete without time on the Grande Ile , a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its colorful architecture.
You can relax and enjoy a great meal in a typical Alsatian tavern called a winstub. Strasbourg is also known for its delightful traditional Christmas markets and gingerbread.  On the less traditional more modern side, Strasbourg is home to the EU Quarter and hosts the second largest student population in France.  Strasbourg truly delights all who visit it with its mix of cultures.
